The Fatlosang Development Trust Training Centre (FDT Training Centre) is a division of the Fatlosang Development Trust which is a BEE entity with stake holding from Fluor.

HISTORY

The Training Centre has been in existence for the past 31 years and have established itself as a nationally accredited, reputable training provider and decentralized trade test centre.

HSE Achievement:
5000000 safe work hours without lost time.

BS OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001

The South African Institute of Welding

Achieved Silver Star Award
Amcham Stars of Africa.

ACCREDITATION

The Training Centre holds accreditation with the National Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO) as a training provider and Trade Test Centre. The institution also holds accreditation with the MERSETA and CHIETA as a Training Provider and Assessment Centre for unit standard based national qualifications.

The Training Centre’s accreditation entails the following;

– Welding (Training Provider & Trade Test Centre)

–Boilermaking (Training Provider & Trade Test Centre)

–Rigging (Training Provider & Trade Test Centre)

–Mechanical Fitting (Training Provider & Trade Test Centre )

–Pipe Fitting (Training Provider)
